somehow, sometimes, stuff already said, and heard, cannot be forgotten that easily. even more so, when it comes from someone that's suppose to matter.
it's a negative feedback mechanism; it pushes, i pull back.
maybe it's just not as much as we thought it was.
...

on another tone, random quotes that cheered me up:

ONE.
(i was blatantly trying to fall asleep during stats practical because it was ever so boring and instructions were !@($*& unclear and roar-ness. SO. i placed my head down and closed my eyes)
a minute after..

chris bends head slowly down next to mine and whispered: "doe-lee. fishes. (pause) don't sleep with their eyes closed"
i tell you. it cracked penny and i up. zomg.
it's just his way of doing it i think?

TWO
during clinicals..
student: so what if there's someone, who's physically fit, active, diet is good, don't drink, don't smoke, have good cholesterol levels, and blood pressure. but he has a family history of CVD. so what will you advise him to do?

doctor phil: take up a religion!

THREE
facilitator: ...the only place that i can think of that does not suffer the complications of recreational drugs is where all the Eskimos are.

charlotte: well. they have ice.
...

ahwell. happiness comes in small packages here and there when you need it. (:
i thank God for chris and penny.
it's quite funny. cause we've developed the habit of looking out for each other.
like when chris goes for lectures, and he doesn't find us, he'll text either of us asking where we were.
and penny said that when she goes for lecture, she'll first look out for where chris is, then where i am, only than will she feel comfortable enough to start her work.
as for me, i can't thank God enough that i have them here with me.
