and so that was highly comfort food we had for lunch (: process of making lunch was hilarious. with lots of comparisons and contradictions between girls and guys thinking on cooking, and rahul actually having his almost-vrigin attempt at porridge, which ended up tasting nice enough for him (:

century egg and minced pork porridge with salted eggs, boiled peanuts, salted fish and stirfried vegetables anddd horribly disgusting fatty oily luncheon meat. (: yum. i <3 porridge! it's like comfort winter food! anyway i couldn't take it after awhile and decided to have penny over for dinner. i just wanted someone to be there physically for me to have a ranting session, or maybe even just talk, to be able to get a real hug after telling me not to be upset over it for long, and just bitch about it with me for awhile etc. penny wanted to cook, and she actually decided to cook PORRIDGE for me. lol. quite funny since i just had porridge for lunch. but being penny, her definition of porridge is just different, it's more teochew style, and we cooked it with salmon. it actually tasted nice; i like. yum. and we had white muscat to go(: we finished the bottle.

nothing beats sitting down, having a cuppa, and just talking to someone who is willing to listen. anyway being me, i was going on about ousting random dubious peripheral fluff from my life, and penny was so amused.

dory: wah lau. such a random dubious peripheral fluff indeed. i should just oust. OUSTED.
penny: -bursts out laughing- omg that's damn amusing. you are just so weird. like who else uses such words.
