for the first time in my entire school life, i missed 1 whole week of lessons due to fever. having fever constantly from monday is not a nice thing. not a nice thing at all.
this fever when plotted against time, is exactly like a sine curve. you see, in the morning, my fever will reach its maximum of say 38.6-38.7 deg, after taking panadol, and trying to force myself back to sleep, it'll decrease to its lowest of about 37.4-37.6 deg in the afternoon and night. and the whole cycle repeats.
once the effect of the panadol wears off, the fever will start increasing like crazy, until my brain will force me to wake up at 6am every morning. once it reaches 38.2 and above, i'll start shivering like mad and when it hits 37.9 and below i'll feel damn hot. thrice i woke up with my whole shirt soaked in sweat, and 4 times when i was shivering like crazy.
so if anyone out there is thinking that i must be getting pretty much rest at home, then you're quite quite wrong. because the night before i'll find it very hard to fall asleep, and when i eventually do, i'll wake up around 6am without fail. disturbed sleep is not sleep at all.
and attending a meeting with a fever is particularly draining.
now i don't even know whether i can make it for the youth avenue thing. looking at the present situation, i highly doubt so. sigh.
