i'm here to blog about today..=) cause today is a nice day for dorinda! hahah.=)

okayy let's see. hmm. i started the day off by trying to be happy. cause i promised alot of people through sms that dory will be happy and smiling again the next day.(: heh. oh man. come to think of it i feel quite bad because the day before i was really very sad, and showed it. duh. i mean. i can't help it lahh..i don't want to go back to those days whereby i wear a mask and walk around in school..and even though i'm sad, i don't show. oh well. but the day before showed me all the people that really cared for me.(:

yup. those are the people that really helped to make my down-and-out day brighter.(: heh. anyway back to today. today is 260105. which means that the next day, 270105 is tan ming yi's birthday! that stupid girl had no inkling that i knew when her birthday was.=) haha.

so i messaged her on monday and asked her to go out for dinner on wednesday since i thought that she would have family dinner or whatever on thursday night itself! and she said okay.(: was planning how to surprise her..and i thought about all sorts of things:
*from suddenly surprising her after cca one day this week.
*to going to the park near my house to see stars. i didn't really consider the fact of how i was suppose to lure her to that park.-.- hahaha.
and then smart dorinda thought of a brilliant idea. hahah! #ego# anyway i decided to go her house at the pretence of wanting to view stars from her condo.=) and then i would get her to go up to her condo [for some reason i hadn't thought about] and decorate the place during that short period of time and disappear from sight before she comes down. hahaha.

so yup! met her at thomson plaze at around 7+pm? she was so slow lahh..hmm! okay i think it was the traffic..plus i told her don't have to rush. yup. the first question that ming asked me was, "ehh how come you bring so many things wann" and my reply to her question was that "oh my class did cny banner and stuff today..[which was true]
hahah and blur her..who still thought i didn't know that tomorrow was her birthday gladly accepted the answer..>.<

so we went to swensons for dinner..actually i offered to share icecream with her, when i suddenly realised that we got cake to eat later! oh no. but luckily she said that she was full..(: hahah.phew. so after we left swensons, i lied and said that i was tired and lazy to walk to her house and that i was carrying alot of things, so i insisted on taking a cab to her house. actually the truth was, i was scared there wasn't enough time for the surprise as i needed to go off soon.=/ hahha. during the cab ride, i was draining my water bottle and asked whether her house got water cause i wanted her to refill my bottle for me..but that was plainly an excuse to get her out of the way.=PpP hahah..and she didn't know. in fact she was being really mean by offering swimming pool chlorinated water for me. hrmpf.

so we reached her condo. and stupid her wanted me to figure out where the swimming pool was because i was supposedly dory and should be able to find myself to the pool.=/ so lame loh! hahha..but i found it ok! told her to go and fill my water bottle for me and put her bags and stuff down, and since i was too lazy [it was an excuse] i didn't want to follow her up. hahaha. so once she was out of sight, i quickly cleared the table, placed the chocolate cake i bought for her on the table. [i bought it at 6pm? and i was seriously hoping that she would like it, cause a chocoholic like me will! hahah and she did.(:] a forever friends box filled with a note and 211 hearts. a 'birthday card' made of cardboard. and an envelope that contained a letter and a doryhug.com card..which i laminated only at 6.30pm. oops. haa. i lit the candle which gladly extinguished 5 seconds later cause the wind was so strong..so i decided to leave it the way it was and went into hiding!

ming's flip flops gave her away! it was so loud when she walked down the steps.ahahha. so i was peeping from the side. at first she didn't see the presents and stuff from afar, but soon she did. as soon as she did, i called her on the handphone and wished her happy birthday before actually appearing! hahha..hope you liked the surprise girl!

wanted to take photo! so i got the ma ma shop uncle to help me take..he was nice enough to come out and help us take cause he already closed his shop for the day.(: yayy..uncle rawks! then i took a photo of the presents and cake itself. and then we started on the cake! [oh by this time we were already scrapping chocolate off the plastic sheet that goes round the cake. yum!] hahah..ming didn't know howta cut the cake..so lousy loh! cause she never cut cake before..so i ended up eating a wierd shaped cake and she- one that is broken. haha. =PpP tsktsktsk. oh! the sky cleared for us(: so we were able to see the beautiful moon and the stars together! then i had to go. dad was picking me up...and before i left, i gave her a hug and she hugged me back.tightly. it has been a long long time since i had a tight hug from my junior le! oh no. this actually proves that i'm old.=( leave nanyang le...#sob# hahah okok. all in all i hope you enjoyed the surprise dear! with all the lies. and excuses. and chocolate cake! and the stars and the moon. and the hug. and the dinner.(:

apart from the surprise..i had my SC interview today. it went well actually..unexpectedly lah. hmm.shall leave all in God's hands..(: here are some questions they asked:
1) do a self introduction of yourself.
2) you mention in your poster that you heard about SC from your sister already, so what exactly did your sister tell you about SC.
3) what if your parents threatens to complain to the school that you are returning home late because of SC activities,what will you do?
4)if it comes to a point whereby you are forced to choose between dropping a subject or SC because you did badly for midyears, which will you choose?
5) a senior sets a certain standard for the mass to follow, but he himself don't. would you confront him because you know it's wrong or would you keep quiet so that you can maintain a good relationship with him?
6) as a leader, do you think you are more of a fork or a spoon?
7)what kind of people do you usually work well with?
8)if you are given a choice of a better jc and vj, which will you choose?
9) rate vjc from a scale of 1 to 10. rate nygh from a scale of 1 to 10. why?
10) assuming that you already got into SC, how would you priortise your 3 CCAs?
11) Being a formal guide in your secondary CCA, how does this put you in an advantage of being in SC then compared to others?
12) there are many applicants for SC, what do you think you have that makes you stand out?
[okay the next question was asked by the teacher. =/ oh man stressed. it was the last question also.]
13) can you imagine yourself as the prime leader of SC?

oh man..i suddenly just realised that they asked so many questions...=/ haiyo. yup. so that's about it all..all in all, today was a great day.(: won't forget it. cause i got to spend time with ming whom i don't see often. and of course my classmates for another great day in vjc.(: heh.
