just came back from camp today. oh man. 3 days and two nights are just gone~ uRgh..really wished that the camp could be longer. out of all four years, i reckon this year's camp was the best of all.=D hEe. though OBS had it's share of fun, and when i was in sec3, i used to stubbornly think that not anyone camp can be better then OBS, but well, i was wrong.=) the camp started off well, had a hard time trying to pack my bag as there were simply so much logistics to bring!=/ yeah logistics, not stuff like clothes and undergarments seem that important now. for the past few weeks, every sec4 nanyang girl has been combing singapore to find a suitable gown and pretty heeled shoes to go with their dresses! and next in line would be the makeup, and what kind of makeup suits our colourskin and blah blah blah. basically, i really felt that this camp was really troublesome! i didn't need to spend so much time just buying the things i needed for the 3 previous camps, and i really had a big headache on this one. well, don't think that finding a right dress with nice shoes are just so easy. to all sec3s out there, you guys will understand when it's your turn next year man!

reached school at 7am in the morning on wednesday (12th march), sec4s gathered in the hall and was briefed by mrs susan chew. left the school after flag raising and reached the resort feeling really bad, the bus ride wasn' that smooth, neither was it that pleasant. didn't had a good sleep the night before and really felt like throwing up. but upon seeing the hUGE tent, the D'Marquee, in which we're gonna have our prom night in, i had this familiar feeling in me. i remembered in sec2, i went for a church camp which was held in this huge air-conditioned tent too, however this tent was different, it was much mUCh more stable and bigger then the one i'd seen during the camp, mentoes helped revived me a little, and we set waiting for everyone to reach the resort.

we started off with inter-class games. was in dog-n-bone. hEh. don't think that dog-n-bone is one boring game, but it turned out really fun! actually we, huiyi, tiff and huixin, wanted to join captains ball, but since the almost half the class wanted to join captain's ball, and even more wanted volleyball, so we took dog-n-bone lohs. it was really fun, and our class was the only class that had pom poms with us. i can vividly remember during the semi-finals, (yes, there's even something called semifinals for dog-n-bone =/) whenever we scored a point, mel and siyou would take the pom poms and run around the court in different directions shouting as loud as they could. that still never fail to put a smile on my face.=) heE. it was really funny seeing them running around, and when mario saw it, he couldn't help laughing either. ah well, i think that the class really is funny and cute at times. captain ball's team won first prize..=) dog-n-bone third,hmm, not quite sure bout volleyball man, but they did well i heard. hehs.

next we went for this make-up session held by quatam-pro. learnt how to put on makeup properly, actually make up is really fun, wahahah! then those who has small eyes can enhance their eyes to make them look even bigger, while people who has pimples can make them disappear, ah well, though i don't really see the point of using make up now, but the hands on session was fun alright!=]

then, we checked in!! wOo hOo! had been looking forward to this part the most! my roommates were the roomies.=D cheryl aka sexy roomy, mavis aka pretty roomy, siyou aka hairy roomy, and me aka moody roomy. hEe. im called moody roomy for a reason, heh,cos i really got SMS, which is aka serious mood swings at times, but oh well. we went downto cheers to get food as we planned to pig out at night. oh man! i really couldn't wait for the night to come when we'll play bridge and mahjong while trying to keep our volumn down to prevent attracting the attention of teachers patrolling around!=/

ohoh! we had indian buffet for dinner! man, it was really an experience for me! learnt howta eat with my hands and stuff, the food wasn't bad, not to mention that they feed us like every 3-4hours or so, so i didn't feel at all hungry and craving for food throughout the camp, but the food was fine. went back to our rooms, bathed and pigged out. slept at around 1+, remembered clearly that we only had 5 hours and 13 mins of time left to slp, but that night none of us slept well, it was frEeZinG~! oh man, the air-con was like 16 degrees and the blankets were like hOlelY. can die lahs, don't understand why they made it holely anyway. we pushed both the single beds together and shared it. hEhs. actually there were 2 floor beds, but we didn use them. yup.

woke up the next morning. oh man,the first i remembered all of us doing was to go get our jackets on, then jumped back into bed and wrapped ourselves up under the blanket. but i couldn't lai4 chuang2 too long as i was suppose to be the first to wash up, followed by mavis siyou den sexy. hehs. but in the end, after washing up, we still found our way back to bed, and in the end, we were the last to leave the block for breakfast. hehs.

next we went for this ettiquette lecture thing held by quatam-pro, basically i feel that some of the points are really irrevelant to us. i mean, being well brought up doesn't mean that you have to be refine no matter where you go, eat like a princess and sit like a refine lady at all times. i mean, yah, we all have to make sure that we sit properly and not expose whatever that we ain't suppose to expose, but the way of getting up and sitting down trying to balance thick books on our heads is really ridiculous. but some of the points came into useful, now everyone will know their table ettiquette well enough. don't know why, but sometimes i get really put off with some of the ways that people can eat, i mean, i don't expect everyone to eat refinely, but talking with your mouth full is just too much.

was suppose to go to the beach for station games in the afternoon, but it rained! oh man. it couldn't have been worse, but come to think of it, if it weren't for the rain, we wouldn't have to the time to practice our dance and put it together. so we headed back to the marquee and started on our dance. the 12 of us, nat,luling,jan,mel,huixin,tiff,pearly,huiwen,huiyi,me,minyuan and pam were the ones who were suppose to do the spanish dance. had a hard time practising. not to mention, we chorographed most of the steps in the time allocated to us in the afternoon. the other half were suppose to do the french dance, CanCan, then we combine. come to think of it, the whole item wasn't at all prepared til the next morning before the competition.

evening dawned and we went off the prepare for The Night. it was time for all of us to doll ourselves up and be pretty for one night. hEe. things screwed up a little and there weren't enough time to prepare, but in the end we still enjoyed ourselves tremendously. took lotsa photos! can't wait to go get them developed. hEes! =D after the dinner, all of us went partying around. with all the music playing, we started dancing, not to mention it was the teachers that started it. mrs janet ng was damn funny, all of them were dancing and this teacher, don't know her name, went up on the tables and started dancing belly dancing according to the music. man! it was one swell night. i really really wished that it didn't have to end so early.=( after that we went back to our rooms in a drunk mood. oh well,at least for the roomies. hEhs. all 4 of us were singing at the top of our voices. and mavis commented that we were looked as if we just came home from this huge party drinking too much, though in fact we didn't even drink any alcohol. hehs.

we bathed and then started pigging out again. jan joined us. i really couldn't stand the state of the room anymore and decided to clean it all up. so i ask them place all our belongings into the cupboard so that i could sweep the floor, cleaned up the dressing table of all things, folded blankets and beat the pillows. and in the end i got called rinda by jan as i was suppose to be the maid of the room. hEhs. but really can't help it lahs, i mean who would like sleeping in a pig sty? oh man..that person will be really disgusting.

we played mahjong, pigged out, pigged out somemore, talked then we went to sleep. jan didn't like to take to risk of sneaking back to her room, though it was just next door, but it was dangerous as teachers were patrolling.=/ i really don't understand why they don't feel tired with all the patrolling man. oh! jieying joined us shortly after siyou bathed, didn know how in the world she sneaked from block C to block D..hahas! but she couldn't risked it either, so both of them ended up spending the night in our room. though the temperature was 24 degrees, but it was still freezing (i wonder why) and not to mention, we had at most 3 hours of sleep left as we planned to wake up at 5.15 the next day. wOo~ the class was really united in waking up, i mean not one (not that i know off) complained about waking up one whole hour earlier just to piece our dance together. we practiced, and practiced somemore, then headed for breakfast. thought the structure was there, but it wasn't that coordinated yet, so after breakfast we practiced somemore. then the dance competition started.

our class did really great! =D i mean, not that our dance is the best, but we did our best, and we were all into the mood. especially the cancan part, the 12 of us started jumping up and down (though we weren't suppose to) according to the beat of the music. wahahhaha! after the dance, all of us were really smiling broadly, why? cause all of us did our best and pulled it off. hEhs. and guess what! we got in 2nd for the dance!! wOO hOo! i mean,i really didn't expect a 2nd, at most a 3rd only, but we did! i reckon our 2 form teachers must have been really proud of us, especially mrs janet ng as she has been with us for 2nd year running, and to see something put together by the class is really wonderful. hEhs.

after that was tea-break, the prize giving ceremony then back to school! oh man.....i really wanna go back to the camp! it was really a leisure camp, where all of us are fed every 3-4 hours, played games and had fun. going crazy and super high after prom, and dancing together as a class. i really feel attached to 404 now, OBS didn't really help much in bonding the class togther, but this camp did! and it did it well. don't want time to pass so soOn. have to cherish all i have in present!

ohohoh! i wanna go develop photos! wahha..can't wait for shanru to burn the videos she took into a vcd, that is if she can manage it, but i trust that she will be able to do it! wOohOo~ then we will have our very own 404 vcd! hEhs. not to mention, our class pullover is really solid! i mean which other class has a pullover? only us! hEes! im still in my camping fantasy, and really havent gotten over it, but still, i have a busy week up ahead, it's holidays for most, but for me, it's nothing but PGA trainings, but oh well, we really have to settle down already.=)
