had pioneer trng today. i finally understood how in the world jang lost 7kg in such a short time. well, if anione take pga, she will definitely lose weight. anyway, today's trng lasted 5 hours. we started taking out the equipments at 10am, then we started on axemanship and firelighting (taking turns) peiyi, melissa, chieh hwee and xiaolee started on firelighting first while panny gracia and me went to do axemanship. sawing was fine, though it really makes one sweat! was raining..whahaha..gracia was raining as well. panny was practising her chopping. oh! guess what, hEhe..we chopped through TWO logs..hEe! logs arent easy to chop through at aLL, and it takes a long time and lotsa efforts..so pga gals! we did it..=D hehs.

i reckon that trng will get tougher and tougher as time gets by. well, that's not because other people are giving us pressure, but even among us, all of us try so hard to obtain the goal. and when we can't get it, we'll get desperate. take e-sheltar for an example, the time limit is 5 minutes. and if anyone ask me, i don't think any of us from start thought that we could do it. ok, maybe cept for peiyi. that's no wonder why her name starts with the letter "P", that's simply cause she's the perfect peiyi. yeah, i have full confidence in nehs, if she doesn't get through any rounds, i don't think any of us can. =/ so we practiced. and practiced somemore. early in the morning, i will sit at the ecopond waiting for weijie and melissa to arrive. then we'll start trnging once the gep-ers come down. cause of time constrain, we could only do once per gir, and from the start it really wasn't easy. my first timing was lyk 5mins and 20+ secs. like huh? its far from good. and as usual, the normal people did it. gracia, panny peiyi, the 3 freaks completed within 5 minutes. and during recess we'll practice somemore, and after sch. ..... but hey, we survived ok..although we haven't even reach half-way of our trnging programme in maRCh. yup only march, but all of us manage to complete our esheltars and ensure that they look okay with angles not off in less then 5 minutes.=D *sMiLes*

i must say that i really look up to melissa and xiaolee, cause both of them were struggling at first, (sorry melisssa if i mentioned this.) but melissa's timing was like 9mins+ from the start, but she was willing to improve, and she strived. plus with the help of all of us, she managed building an e-sheltar in 4 mins and 48secs just ystd during cca! its really great improvement. as for xiaolee, she was trying with her eheltar too, and she did it.=) plus during firelighting, the damn fire just wouldn't start, but they still carried on, and managed to get their messtins of water boiling in the end. xiaolee lost her voice cause of inhaling too much CO2, she went to see the doc today, take care gal! but the great thing is that, both of them aren't ashamed of anything, neither do they get fustrated with themselves, but they thrived on.=) theres still a long way ahead man! jiayou!

my whole body is really aching now.=( its really no wonder, i bet everyone is really tired and burnt out. what with all the blisters that we have on our hands, knee caps giving way due to old injury and hands not being able to write properly due to peg marks that can be seen, after pushing with all our mights, the disfigured metal pegs that sometimes just wouldn't go into the ground...and throats and eyes feeling all dry cause of being next to the fire for too long and trying so hard to rekindle the fire to keep it going. i don't think i'm able to make it if not of you guys.=) *charlene, deborah, gracia, panny, peiyi, melissa, chieh hwee, xiaolee, joyce, clara and weijie* you guys are really amazing! *huGs*

and of course, God gets all the credit of why i'm not dead now. come to think of it, i can't be me if it's not because of God.think of it man, if God did not give me the knowledge to be able to learn, then forget about me studying or even learning to know howta start a fire, howta turf, howta saw and chop and split wood. so thank God!=) i have to say again, if it weren't for God, no dorinda in her right mind would ever take part in PGA. that's cause i simply can't trust myself in my time management, in my studies, coping with both PGA and studies really test one'a ability in time management. not to say, my skills in guides ain't that good either, so which dorinda in her right mind would ever join pga? ha.

anyway, just some infomation. all the trainings that we are doing now is for our pioneer proficiency badge. yup. it's just for being able to appLy for pga. meaning, we aren't even in pga, just trnging to apply for pga, which means that the journey just started and there's still a long way to go. plus we only have like only until 2nd week of April to complete our pioneer badge, get gold for testwork, complete eXtErnaL homemakers (not the usual that everyone does by going ms ngs house) and complete a 20hour community involvement programme. and all thEse, are just for applying to take part in pga 2004.=/ hais. sometimes i really wonder why the hell i'm here. =/ but a command is a command. hmm.

yup, that's all i shall say bout pioneer trng. update another time more on our trngings. oh btw, thanks all seniors (von, jazreel, jiali, ninghan and huifen) for arranging their schedule so that different people can come down at different trng sessions to supervise us.=) heE. i'm glad that we have such great seniors! =)
